Johannesburg

This time we did a short trip to Soweto, an enormous "matchbox" houses residential area in the southwest of Johannesburg. We visited the Nelson Mandela's house, but the best part was spending some time with local children. This, of course, had not been a planned part of our trip, as this part of the town was supposedly rather dangerous, but we insisted on it and had an unforgettable experience hanging out with the youngest football supporters. Despite the poverty they live in the kids are laughing and are full of positive energy. I'm not sure who was more thrilled – us to meet them, or them to meet us. We'll by all means remember this trip as a wonderful experience.
