After the match against England in Port Elizabeth, the situation in Group C cleared up and unfortunately our South Africa World Cup journey came to an end. Saying goodbye to it all was not easy as we had been expecting to make it into the knockout stage and achieve our goal. When we were leaving the Southern Sun hotel in Johannesburg, our home during the World Cup, employees of the hotel gave us a very warm farewell. By singing and dancing in African rhythms they saw us off when we boarded the bus, which then took us to the Johannesburg airport, where we flew to Europe from.
